NATO PUBLIC FORUM AND ROLE OF ATA

The Atlantic Treaty Association was an institutional partner for NATO Public Forum 2023!

That means all ATA member associations from 37 countries in the world were working as close as possible as partners in promoting the role of NATO!

Namely, on 11-12 July 2023, NATO’s Heads of State and Government met in Vilnius Lithuania, at the NATO Summit, to address the challenges of the current security environment.

On this occasion, NATO organized the NATO Public Forum, in collaboration with the Eastern Europe Studies Centre, the German Marshall Fund of the United States, the Munich Security Conference, and the Atlantic Council.

Together, all ATA member associations under the ‘umbrella’ of ATA worked closely to promote a better public understanding of NATO’s policies and goals more efficiently!

The Public Forum, through a series of panel discussions, debates, and interactive sessions on various topics on NATO’s agenda, provided dialogue and engagement with a unique and diverse group of stakeholders, from Heads of State and Government and Ministers, to international security experts, opinion formers, academics, journalists and young people, that will help in better understanding of decisions to be adopted at the Vilnius Summit. Delegates from Members and Associated memberd of ATA including the youth section were invited and participated in the event.
