Dr. Nikos Loutas
Director of Innovation, Hybrid and Cyber Division, NATO HQ

Dr. Nikos Loutas is the head of NATO’s Data and AI Policy unit, which provides policy leadership, drives policy adoption, and coordinates NATO’s efforts to use data as a strategic asset and to adopt Artificial Intelligence in line with NATO’s Principles of Responsible Use. Before joining NATO, he worked as a policy officer in the European Commission and held several positions in the private sector and in research. He has completed a PhD in semantic web and data analytics.
